One of RTB’s seven research themes is concerned with improving farmer access to low-cost, high-quality planting materials. A team of specialists is developing a framework for analyzing and intervening in seed systems that will be applicable to all the RTB crops. As part of that effort, they gathered in Wageningen, the Netherlands from October 9-11, 2013 to work on the framework, select case studies, begin creating a database, and propose an operative plan for the next two years.
